Policy
Before a deposit is accepted on any joey I ask that you please read over my policy and answer a few question. You must digitally sign an agreement stating you have read, understand and agree to this policy. This is for legal security only for both the buyer & myself. After you have read the policy and still wish to continue you may click here to get started. You must be at least 18 years of age to legally sign the agreement. I will only sell & ship to legal states if your not sure sugar gliders are legal in your state check here.
Deposit & Payment A Non-Refundable deposit of no less then 50% of total cost must be placed on the glider of your choice to hold them for you. Payments may be made Secure through Pay pal (plus pay pal fees), Money Order or Cash (sorry no checks). When sending money through the mail I encourage you to pay an extra 75 cents for a tracking number for your own safety. The remainder of your balance must be paid in full no later then 2 weeks prior to weaning date.
Pick up & Weaning Dates Joeys are to be picked up or shipped no later then 2 week after weaning date unless other arrangements have been made. If the Joey has not picked up by this time, the deposit maybe forfeited and the glider will be placed back up for adoption. Unless there is a written agreement by both parties that the glider needs to stay here longer. There will be a $25.00 a week charge for any thing over 2 weeks (unless Joey has not met weaning requirements). I offer a health certificate for an additional $70.00 to paid at time deposit is made if you wish to have one, this will cover the visit to the vet & gas. Sugar gliders will wean around 8 – 12 weeks once out of pouch. (OOP) Out of Pouch date means the first full day the Joey has been detached naturally from its mother’s nipple. Weaning requirements include, going to the bathroom on its own & eating / drinking on its own. No Joey will leave my home until the weaning requirements have been met. NOTE: If a joey has been cannibalized or rejected by the parents I can only offer you the next available joey of same sex or value. If you decide to cancel due to this please read below under cancel policy rules.
Shipping I will only ship to legal states within the continental US. Shipping is available through Continental Airlines, at the buyers expense, for $250.00 (this will cover the ticket, shipping crate & cost of gas). Joey & shipping charges must be paid in full 2 weeks prior to shipping / weaning date. I will arrange a day & time that will is covenant for us both. If this is not paid by given date the joey will be placed back up for adoption unless we have prior arrangements.
Health Guarantee We have a 72-hour health guarantee on all joeys purchased. (this is standard) I advise you to take your new pet to an exotic vet who cares for sugar gliders within 48 hours of bringing your glider home or immediately if the sugar glider is showing any signs of illness (unless a health certificate has been issued which would provide proof the glider is healthy). If requirements are not met I reserve the right to void any health guarantee. Within 72 hours if your glider becomes ill or dies and is diagnosed by the vet the conditions are directly related to my establishment and the glider has not been in contact or exposed to other gliders or animals then I will be happy to give you a refund (with in a reasonable time frame) or you may exchange for another glider provided one is available, or receive the next available glider of same value. This guarantee does not cover stress, man made injuries, flight injury, or fights between two or more gliders. You will need to provide vet documentation (proof) of any sickness the glider has or what the cause of death may have been (which may include an autopsy). The new owner is responsible for all vet bills.
Cancellation Policy I reserve the right to cancel an adoption, for any reason, whatever be in the best interest of the Joey, at any time before the Joey leaves my home. If I back out of a sale, then you will receive a full refund (which will be paid back the same way it was received. You will receive a full refund with in arranged time frame). Once a deposit has been made if (You) the buyer backs out on a sale the deposit & any payments will be kept due to loss of poss. sale during time of joey being held. Return Of Gliders: If for some reason you can not keep a Joey you have purchased from me I will be happy to either give this glider a forever home (provided I have given space to do so) or help you find a good home for him/her. I do not offer refunds on return gliders. Although I do handle my joeys daily to try and ensure they are tame when going to a new home I can not control or guarantee them not to nip / bite as all gliders tend to do this from time to time. Please remember that it takes time and patients to become bonded to your new found friend it all depends on how you approach the bonding process as to how long that may be.
Return Policy For Store Items: If for some reason you have a problem with a product you have bought from my store please contact me about the issue. At which time appropriate action will be taken to either replace the item (once returned) or give you a full refund / Store Credit. Shipping charges can not be refunded.
